Single guide wet fabric refers to the flow of moisture or sweat from the inner layer (close-fitting layer) of the fabric to the outer layer (non-close-fitting layer, diffusion layer) of the fabric , and evaporative diffusion in the outer layer, while the outer layer of moisture or sweat is difficult to reverse infiltration to the inner layer.
There are two main processing methods of single guide wet fabric:
(1) One side of the fabric with water-repellent materials and the other side with hydrophilic materials, so that the fabric to achieve a single guide wet effect. Water repellent by material: divided into water-repellent polyester material, water-repellent polypropylene material or waterproof silk, made of point contact type double-sided knitted fabric structure.
(2) Through the special finishing process, so that the fabric one side is water repellent and the other side is hydrophilic, water repellent finishing is not 100% coverage, but about 75%, through the printing method of fabric micro window finishing (the main principle of micro window technology is the application of hydrophobic additives, such as waterproof agent in the inner surface of the fabric colorless printing. The technical key point is that, the pattern of the printing irregular small dot distribution, the inner layer at the same time there is part of the hydrophobic and hydrophilic surface, water through the hydrophilic part of the outer diffusion and permeation, and the outer hydrophilic part has strong hygroscopicity, formation core suction pressure difference inside and outside, the result only point of inner surface moisture, keep dry, outside surface is wet).
The common point of the above two methods is that the inner layer of the fabric is the water-repellent layer, which is the window layer of water absorption, and the outer layer of the fabric is the water diffusion layer. This layer requires good hygroscopicity to produce a good single guide wet effect which means there is a pressure difference between the inner and outer layers, and the greater the pressure difference, the greater the differential effect.
Use of method (2) can realize the functional finishing of single guide wet and single waterproof fabric. It can speed up the evaporation rate of moisture or sweat on the finishing fabric and improve the wearing comfort of clothing.
