Many clothes originate from cotton, cotton naturally has a soft and fluffy feel, why do we need to add Softeners?

The soft and fluffy of cotton comes from the natural waxes that accompany cotton during growth. Unfortunately, in the process of processing cotton into clothing, these natural waxes are re- moved industrially in the pursuit of bright, clean fabrics and vi- brant, firm colors.
